9/24/11  Brandon and the 16 team had a good night to finish out the 2011 racing season.  After starting 3rd in the feature Brandon fell to the back after starting behind the #40.  The 40 car did not get a good start to the race and Brandon had to race hard on a slippery track to get back to the third spot after the 25 lap event.  With his 3rd place finish Brandon and the 16 team had eight straight top five finishes that resulted in a 4th overall in the point standings only 10 behind third.  Overall it was a great rookie season for Brandon with 2 wins and 11 top five finishes.  Now with a year under his belt Brandon and the #16 Fadden Racing Team will be serious contenders for the 2012 championship.

9/17/11  After winning last week Brandon and the 16 team had to start in the rear of the heat race and the feature.  The first lap of the heat race saw plenty of action as the #40 and #31 got together off turn two.  Brandon picked his way through the field and came home third in the 10 lap heat.  The 16 crew mad a few changes to loosen the car up a little for the feature.  At the drop of the green the action was slowed again by the #40 and #31 cars.  Picking his way through the field Brandon was running behind the 21 car who was in second and the point leader was leading.  Brandon new they are running for the championship and respected that and settled for third spot after the 25 lap event.  Brandon gained one more spot in the points to 4th only 12 points out of third.  The last event of the season will be on 9/24/11.

9/10/11  After starting third in the heat race the #40 car took Brandon all the way back to 9th in the early laps.  Brandon gained two spots back to 7th in the 10 lap heat race.  Hoping the #40 could get going better in the feature and not cause any problems for Brandon or the rest of the competitors fighting for valuable points with only a few races left.  Brandon and the team new they had a good car after making several changes this week back at the shop because of changing track conditions.  The crew made one more change to the #16 before the feature.  All the hard work payed off.  Brandon got a great start to the race and led all but one lap of the 25 lap event.  Running just hard enough to keep a 3 car length lead over the pack.  With his second feature win of the season Brandon moves closer to the top three in the point standings.  Just 11 out of 4th and 16 out of 3rd.  With only two races remaining Brandon and the 16 team will look to move up in the points.

9/3/11  After a stormy week at the track with all the rain and flooding,  the track was ready.  A big thank you to everyone at WMMP for working hard all week so we could race.  The 16 crew and Brandon tried several things in practice to help the handling of the #16.  The car was real tight all day with the green race track from all the rain.  Brandon jumped out to an early lead and brought home anothe heat win #5 of the season.  Starting third in the feature the 40 car did not get a good start and took Brandon all the way back to 7th before he could get by.  With caution coming out Brandon couldn't avoid the #2 car and got rf damage that brought him to the pits for repairs.  With the green coming out and Brandon still in the pits, the #16 was 1/2 a lap down before getting back on the track.  The race went green for the next 10 laps before caution 2 came out.  That was a big break for Brandon to catch up to the field.  Restarting 11th Brandon worked his way into the 5th position when the checkerd flew.  Brandon is now 5th in points and 17 points out of third.  With three races remaining it's going to get exciting.  Brandon and the Fadden Racing crew may run the Pass Wildcat race on Sunday September 11th.  We will have to see how we come out of Saturday September 10th race.

8/27/11  Brandon and the 16 team had a good practice but new they had to make a few changes to get faster.  Brandon won the heat race and looked forward to another strong run in the feature.  After getting out to an early 1/2 straightaway lead Brandon was running some of the fastest times of the season.  Around lap 13 of the 25 lap event Brandon new his chances of winning were slim when the power steering went on his Chevrolet.  Running a 1/2 second slower than he had been running the 21 of Wheeler realed Brandon in.  Brandon did not put up a fight and let the 21 by.  Brandon finished the feature event in second and has made up a lot of points in the last 4 weeks.  He is now tied for 5th and only 19 points out of 3rd.  With 4 weeks left to the season, every point counts.

8/20/11  After having  a strong practice Brandon and the team were ready for the nights big race, a 50 lap feature event.  After getting spun in the heat race brandon and crew had a lot of repairs to do before the featue.  Replacing several front end parts and making sure everything was ok for the big race.  Brandon got a great start and jumped out to a big lead on the rest of the field.  After leading the first 26 laps the caution flew for the first time.  With the 84 car in second Brandon let another 4 laps before giving up the lead to the 84.  Brandon and the 84 pulled away and ran nose to tail for the rest of the event.  Brandon didn't have enough for the 84.  Brandon ran stron and closed in on the top five in points.  The team is looking for another good run this weekend.

After a power steering problem in the heat race Brandon starts 8th in the feature.  Early in the race Brandon was biding his time gaining spots one by one.  With a car spinning in turn two the caution flew, as Brandon and the field slowed for the caution the 2 car did not and spun Brandon and the 84 under caution, causing damage to the left side of the car.  After going green Brandon headed up the outside gaining psitions.  At the end of the race Brandon came home 4th behind the 2 car who was using the whole track to stay third.  Next event is 8/20 a 50 lap feature for the strickly stock cars.  Brandon and the whole team are looking forward to the big race.
